To better your oasis we offer services to those unsure of the proper methods or, veteran pond owners that wish to have these services done for them. A well designed pond requires very little maintenance. But, seasonal cleanings are a very important aspect of owning a pond. The most important cleanings are the spring and the fall cleaning. Our monthly maintenance fee is $150.00 per hour for a two man crew minimum one hour, plus materials/products.

Our Maintenance procedures consist of:

• Cleaning pond rocks and spillways
• Test and clean attached equipment including UV Lights
• Apply bacteria, enzymes and barley to the water
• Trim and fertilize plants, removal of plants as necessary
• Cleaning of filter and skimmer pads
• Cleaning surrounding areas of the pond
• Perform 10% water exchange
• Removing string algae

Seasonal Closing Procedures consist of:

• Remove UV unit, pumps filter media and bio media
• Install de-icer and or aerators
• Add cold water bacteria s, salt and barley
• Remove tropical plants and trim plants that will stay
• Bag removed devices and leave with client
• Netting of pond either rocked or tent netting

Seasonal Pond Opening Procedures consist of:

• Removing fish and safely keeping them for the duration of the cleaning
• Drain the pond, remove plants, power wash pond
• Remove excess organic debris, known as sludge
• Set up pump, filter, UV sterilizer, scarecrow and auto fill
• Add bacteria packs to start your eco system
• We will have bacteria, enzymes and fish food on the service truck for your convenience
• Acclimating the fish and plants to the new water conditions
