Our Story

Shelly started sewing when she was 5, taking her Grandma's magazine fabric swatches and making clothes for her dolls. It was 1983 when she got her first professional experience working for a dress making and alterations shop. After working there for 10 years, she know she wanted to continue pursuing sewing and fashion. For 15 years, Shelly had her own alterations business out of her home which eventually led her to Bill's Toggery, where she worked in alterations until opening Shelly's Boutique right next door. This boutique has given Shelly the creative freedom to give women a unique shopping experience, with a chance to explore different styles to match their unique taste, style and body type.
