Since 2001, Owner-Built Construction Management Services has been saving homeowners money on their remodel projects. Founded by Jim Rumler, the company set out to revolutionize the remodeling industry by helping homeowners become their own general contractor. Since then, the concept of being your own contractor has continued to grow and Owner-Built has proven that with the proper guidance, tools and assistance, homeowners can boast significant savings on their remodeling or home building project.

For the next 22 years, Jim spread the word and grew the business until he sold it to Christian and Leslie Custer in the summer of 2023 and retired. Christian and Leslie have a passion for design and construction and place a high value on the satisfaction of their customers. Throughout the years, Owner-Built’s mission has been and will continue to be to help homeowners maximize their remodel dollars while still creating high quality spaces.
