We are licensed builders in the State of Michigan and stay current on all licensing requirements including updating our continued education requirements for license renewals.

Cheryl Stasak founded Michigan Outdoor Living and it’s parent Company, Civiltech LLC, in 1998 as multi-disciplinary design/build landscape and hardscape firms. Under Cheryl’s leadership the Companies have developed into reliable full service landscape and construction companies. Cheryl oversees day to day operations for all aspects of the company including financing, sales, design, employee and subcontractor supervision. Cheryl attended Wayne State University for her Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences and attended Oakland Community College for her Associates Degree in Architecture. Cheryl is a Michigan Licensed Residential Builder and started her career in landscape and hardscape construction in 1982. She has worked extensively throughout her career in both the Commercial and Residential markets.
