In 1958, Peter LaFata left his home in Italy and came to American. Peter brought with him his dream to create beautiful, custom style wood cabinetry of the highest quality that would also be affordable. He also brought with him his gift of Old World woodworking skills.

LaFata Cabinets is the largest custom cabinet manufacturer in Michigan, and is also still family owned. While maintaining three state of the art showrooms in Michigan, LaFata Cabinets are also distributed through independent dealers throughout Michigan and its neighboring states.
