Originally opened as Crescent Moon Bakery, Inc. in 2000, selling only fresh breads and sweets, the local, family-owned restaurant has since expanded tremendously to include a restaurant, full capacity catering, and a beautiful banquet hall before re-branding to match their popular football-shaped pizzas. A second location was opened as Football Pizza at 1517 Como Ave SE, Minneapolis MN, in April 2016. The original Crescent Moon Bakery location was re-branded to Football Pizza in February 2018. A third Football Pizza location was opened in Columbia Heights at 3701 Central Ave next to Bobby And Steve's Auto World in December 2018.

Owner Meerwais Azizi loves games and decided to make a pizza shaped after his favorite sport. The football-shaped pizzas are the most unique in the Twin Cities, made with Afghan flatbread and served with a side of fiery cilantro-pepper chanti dipping sauce. You can even take home the experience with six varieties of Frozen Football Pizza Factory pizzas you bake at home. 

With more than just pizza, you can enjoy a variety of other options including cheesy garlic flat bread, gyros, kabobs ,tikkas, chicken wings, sandwiches, salads, smoothies, chai, baklava and more.

Take-out, delivery, and catering are also available.
