In order to install the plug in option of the EVIQO Gen2 Home EV Charger, you need to have a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in your home. EV Solutions powered by Sparc is a licensed installer that can handle the outlet installation for you, no need to call a separate installer!
EV charger
The EVIQO Gen2 Home EV Charger boasts streamlined convenience with rapid charging that can increase your charging capacity up to 50 miles per hour. EVIPOWER also has the longest input cable of 37” paired with a 25’ output cable that turns any parking spot at your home into a charging station. EVIQO Gen2 has two options of installation - Plug-in or Hardwire. Plug-in charger maximum output is 40A while the hardwire option is 48A.
Connection to PV & battery
The EVIQO Gen2 Home EV Charger will detect all possible errors associated with EV charger operation: Overcurrent, Current Leakage, Overvoltage, Undervoltage, Overheat, Surge Protection, Relay Fault Detection, Control Pilot Fault Detection, Voltmeter Fault Detection, and Ground Wire Disconnection. The Red light on the front panel will flash in association with a specific number/interval that corresponds to an error list in the Installation Guide.
