Window Cleaning and Washer Considerations
The atmosphere of any home can be enhanced by having clean windows. Whether you are preparing for the holidays or just doing some spring cleaning, window cleaning can be a tedious task. Windows can many times need special equipment just to reach.
Exterior/Interior Windows - Homeowners are too often satisfied with the streaky look left behind by paper towels and spray chemicals. Even still, in most every home there are windows that cannot be reached without ladders and the proper scrubbing equipment. This all adds up to, more often than not, dirty windows. For many homes cleaning all of your exterior and interior windows can be a weekend long project. If you plan to tackle this project make sure you have a sturdy ladder and tools that will allow you to reach and thoroughly wipe down the glass.
Glass Furniture/Chandeliers - Glass tables and chandeliers are very delicate items and must be treated and handled with care. Cleaning these items can cause injury and damage to expensive pieces. If you do not feel you can confidently and properly clean glass furniture or chandeliers it is a good idea to contact a cleaning professional.
Skylights - Skylights are always tricky to clean due to the fact that they reside on the ceiling and roof of a home. Often a very tall ladder and lengthy scrubbing tools are needed to clean the interior side of the skylight. In order to clean the exterior of the skylight you must get on the roof. In any project that involves getting on the roof use extreme caution. If you do not feel comfortable on the roof please contact a skylight cleaning professional.
Windows can many times become an afterthought when dealing with cleaning any home. While it doesn't take much knowledge in order to complete the task it can often times be arduous.
